| Back At Home |
Koda's flight was scheduled to arrive at the airport at around 6:00 p.m. on November 28, 2001. After very anxiously waiting for an incredibly long 6 weeks, we were finally in the home stretch! We knew her flight was delayed but were told it was only by about 15 minutes. That 15 minutes turned out to be more like 60 minutes. Then there was the VERY long customs office delay. Then there was the VERY long train delay (we had to cross train tracks to get to customs). We just had to laugh at all the hurdles we had to jump over. But when we walked into the room and saw for the first time our little girl, all those delays and hurdles seemed to disappear from our minds. She was absolutely gorgeous. She far exceeded our expectations and we were amazed that she was even more beautiful than her pictures showed!
